Photomanipulation Resources - Risorse per il Fotoritocco

The photograph base is my reflection in a window of Stockholm.
The image is unusual and it is well aranged for being elaborated with suitable software.
I have therefore used varied software, everything free, to elaborate and to extract different versions from departure release.

Software in question are:

• Gimp 2 (the free brother of Photoshop): to correct the brightness and the contrast, for add levels of color and to give them the final cut adding a frame;

• qtpfsgui (a free software used for HDR technology - High Dynamic Range): to obtain different versions to use with more or except variations of details, lights and shadows.

• ImageInc (A free excellent software, that allows in simple manner to superimpose two images and to extract good effects): to add to the final image special effects.

Finally I obtained 4 images, each with quite distinguished features, like a representation of 4 different states of mind, that can be examined in detail (DeviantArt site):

- Reflected World Dark

- Reflected World Colorful

- Reflected World Strong

La foto di base è il mio riflesso in una vetrina di Stoccolma (vedasi immagine in alto).
L'immagine è inconsueta e si presta bene per essere elaborata con i programmi adatti.
Ho quindi usato vari software, tutti gratuiti, per elaborare e ricavarne diverse versioni dallo scatto di partenza.

I software in questione sono:

• Gimp 2 (il fratello gratuito di Photoshop): per correggere la luminosità e il contrasto, per aggiungere livelli di colore e per dargli il taglio finale aggiungendo una cornice;

• qtpfsgui (un software gratuito usato per la tecnica HDR - High Dynamic Range): per ottenere diverse versioni da utilizzare con più o meno variazioni di dettagli, luci e ombre.

• ImageInc (un software gratuito eccellente, che permette in modo semplice di sovrapporre due immagini e ricavarne buoni effetti): per aggiungere all'immagine finale effetti particolari.

Alla fine ho ottenuto 4 immagini, ognuna con caratteristiche ben distinte, come una rappresentazione di 4 diversi stati d'animo, che possono essere esaminate in dettaglio (sito DeviantArt):
